Expensive almonds have been stored in the warehouses of Lübeck years ago. These were required for the production of the famous Lübecker Marzipan and also were shipped to the Prussian Königsberg. There the second marzipan culture of the baltic region developed with the help of Lübeck.

Today you can enjoy real specialties of Lübeck such as our famous almond marzipan cake in the Lübecker Marzipan Warehouse with a magnificent view over the Untertrave and the Holstentor.

Marvel at live-size figures created of real marzipan - it´s amazing! Some of the exhibits are even awarded the Guinness record.

Or just buy marzipan, where it originally comes from, namely the manufacturer in Lübeck.
